The kinds of kindness we seek are the kinds of kindness we keep close;
A ride to the store
A present we weren't expecting
A hug we never asked for but silently needed.
To be kind we must accept kind acts
It's a two way street and we do our best to stay between the lines
May kind people walk your way and give you what you need
And in return, may you not spread yourself thin, giving all your kindness in one place
But may you share it with every bug, plant, dog, or human you come across.
It is an innate desire to receive it
But it is a selfless act to give it.
Love and be loved
Be kind and in turn, kindness will flow to you.
